Targeting your customers

If required, customers can select which kinds of stories they want to receive from an options dialog box, and can also extend the usefulness of the DNA system by adding additional news feeds of their own. As the DNAs conform to the standard RSS specification, there are tens of thousands of feeds available on the web.

Calendar

Our agents can be integrated with a calendering module which gives access to events that the user adds herself, or those which are added from a remote server.

Characters

Many of our desktop agents are accompanied by an animated character. This gives a pleasing hook to encourage the user to download and install the application, and often the arrival of new stories is used to trigger an appropriate animation and sound effect from the character.

Our agents are designed to be highly configurable, animations can be updated throughout the life of the Agent, and the character's behaviour can be configured to grow and develop over time according to input from the user. In other words the character can behave just like a virtual pet, developing and becoming happy when it receives a lot of attention, or sulking and becoming ill when it isn't treated well.

Any installed character can be completely revamped from the central server so that it can be configured to take on a completely new appearance at will. This was used to great effect for an agent designed to evolve to coincide with the promotion of a new video release.
